Each Grist Realty associate has their own real estate back story. Hugh grew up moving from fixer-upper to fixer-upper and swore as a young person that he'd never do that kind of work. That changed in his college years when the opportunity presented itself to purchase the town house he was renting from his landlord. That first purchase eventually became a renovation, which led to the next, then the next, until finally the interest became a profession.
Today our collective story continues to develop with a commitment to help our clients make the very best of their transactions, acting as fiduciary and consultant with only their goals in priority. We strive to support our local economies through responsible market growth management, charity volunteer work, and business networking.

Hugh Grist | Hugh@gristrealty.com | (919) 601-8672
The Business Dictionary describes a leader as someone who establishes a clear vision, then shares that vision with others so they will follow willingly. Someone who provides the information, knowledge, and methods to realize that vision. Someone who coordinates and balances the conflicting interests of all members and stakeholders. A leader steps up in times of crisis, and is able to think and act creatively in difficult solutions. This parallels precisely with the definition of a good real estate agent, and Hugh draws on experience to lead both his clients and his company towards success.
